Vertical Garden – a simple DIY project made of europallets
The vertical greening has long been in vogue and is also current this season. That’s why we’d like to suggest a DIY idea that you could quickly implement yourself.
For this you need the following materials:
♦ a wooden pallet
♦ garden foil
♦ stapler and scissors
♦ soil and fertilizer
♦ plant seeds
Necessary materials for the project “DIY vertical garden”
Firstly, you should attach the burlap to the inside of the wooden pallet with the tacker well.
Then you should get the pallet with the garden foil (as shown in the picture below). Leave one side (top) open to later fill the pallet with soil and fertilizer.

You will need a few packs of compost
Now you should plant the seeds. The goal is to make small openings in the sackcloth.
Create a vertical garden easily
You can make a vertical garden even easier by missing the first step and not using a burlap. That’s the way it works …

To achieve a fast effect, you can plant young plants instead of seeds.
So you can also create a herb garden
Plants that are well suited for a vertical garden include herbs such as thyme, mint and others, as well as succulents, various types of cactus, moss, small flowering plants and even strawberries.

Note the fact that this simple design has no drainage system. This means that the earth at the bottom will always be wet. And that’s why plants that tolerate moisture are good for the bottom rows of the vertical garden.
Build your own vertical garden – be patient and enjoy the end result!
Our tip: For the first 2-3 weeks, put the pallet horizontally. When the plants grow out, you can already put the pallet vertically or hang it up.
